Scope and Content: ‘Folded ILLEONG’ is a work produced in 2020. It was first exhibited at ‘HOW TO BETTER YOURSELVES’, held from January 23 to March 6, 2020, at 402ho, 161 Hwarang-ro 32-gil, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. The work consists of wooden battens with text written on them, installed leaning against window frames and interior structures. At the bottom, an iPad is wedged into the window frame to play an edited documentary of a house being built on an old British castle site, accompanied by the sound of a crackling fireplace.
