Psyche ‘Psyche’ is a work produced in 2023. It was first exhibited at ‘Contacting presence’, held from December 27, 2023, to January 6, 2024, at Space Cadalogs. Inspired by the myth of Eros and Psyche, the work consists of two smartphones playing videos of tropical fish. While the videos on both devices share the same source, subtle discrepancies arise during playback due to differences in physical conditions and processing speeds, causing the two videos to gradually drift apart. The original one-minute video was divided into frames (1/24 of a second), resulting in 3,600 files played sequentially via Windows Media Player. This process was re-recorded, and despite being performed on the same computer, the limitations of processing speed expanded the footage into videos exceeding five and six minutes, respectively. These expanded videos were then compressed back to the original one-minute duration for playback. -
Fon Suthamphong ‘Fon Suthamphong’ is a work produced in 2024. It was first exhibited at ‘Rheem, Daul’, held from August 23 to September 22, 2024, at sangheeut. The work features different digital images printed on each side of the fabric, which covers a metal frame and is joined by a zipper. In the first part of the exhibition, the fabric displayed an image of a tropical fish on one side and a shipwreck on the other. In the second part, the structure was presented by zipping together fabric printed with an enlarged image of a tropical fish on one side and a parrot on the other. During the exhibition, the fabric cover was replaced once. The title follows the format of a common foreign name. -
Arm(Right) ‘Arm(Right)’ is a work produced in 2020. In the first part of the exhibition, the fabric displayed an image presumed to be the inside of an animal’s mouth on one side and a morning glory on the other. In the second part, the fabric was replaced with images of a tropical fish and a woven textile. During the exhibition, one side of the fabric was occasionally removed to expose the underlying metal support. -
A Little More ILLEONG ‘A Little More ILLEONG’ is a work produced in 2019. Three wooden beams lean against one another in a triangular formation. One of the beams is sprayed with blue paint and has yellow three-dimensional letters spelling ‘OLLINGE’ attached to it. At the vertex where the three beams meet, a smartphone device is suspended by thread, through which a video is displayed. -
Folded ILLEONG ‘Folded ILLEONG’ is a work produced in 2020. It was first exhibited at ‘HOW TO BETTER YOURSELVES’, held from January 23 to March 6, 2020, at 402ho, 161 Hwarang-ro 32-gil, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. The work consists of wooden battens with text written on them, installed leaning against window frames and interior structures. At the bottom, an iPad is wedged into the window frame to play an edited documentary of a house being built on an old British castle site, accompanied by the sound of a crackling fireplace. -
Jeongisu(The Storyteller) ‘Jeongisu(The Storyteller)’ is a work produced in 2024. It was first exhibited at ‘Rheem, Daul’, held from August 23 to September 22, 2024, at sangheeut. When a gyro sensor, shaped like a wind bell, moves in the wind, the device measures the sensor's positional values using trigonometric functions and outputs wind bell sounds of varying intensities. In the first part of the exhibition, it played wind bell sounds, and in the second part, it was changed to thunder sounds. -

Eros&Psyche ‘Eros&Psyche’ is a work produced in 2020. It was first exhibited at ‘Chestnut tree-Dokkaebi-Bunjae’, held from September 29 to October 14, 2021, at Gallery175 (currently K-ARTS Art Space). The work features two photographs of a butterfly's cross-section, mirrored and displayed on the screens of two different smartphone models. Both devices are connected to chargers. -

Alexei Zinoviev ‘Alexei Zinoviev’ is a work produced in 2024. It was first exhibited at ‘Rheem, Daul’, held from August 23 to September 22, 2024, at sangheeut. The work features different digital images printed on each side of the fabric, which covers a metal frame and is joined by a zipper. In the first part of the exhibition, the fabric displayed an image of a shipwreck on one side and a tropical fish on the other. In the second part, the fabric was replaced with images of a rose on one side and a collaged iconography of a bronze Buddhist statue on the other. Alexa Okuwen ‘Alexa Okuwen’ is a work produced in 2023. It was first exhibited at ‘The Good neighbor’, held from May 25 to June 10, 2023, at Art Space 3. In the first part, the work features a structure where fabric printed with an image presumed to be an animal’s torso is joined by a zipper to another fabric showing a plane leaving a contrail across a city skyline. The second part follows the same structure, zipping together an image of an animal’s torso with a fabric printed with images of an envelope, a frame, and a meteorite falling through Earth's atmosphere. Objects such as bracelets, necklaces, dried flowers, and photographs are placed atop the fabric-covered metal supports. The title follows the format of a common foreign name. -
Heart ‘Heart’ is a work produced in 2020. It was first exhibited at the 21st Department of Fine Arts Graduation Exhibition ‘Crown Shyness,’ held from December 21, 2020 to January 21, 2021, at Korea National University of Arts. An image of someone’s face, edited in various ways, is overlaid at regular intervals using wooden frames on top of a digitally printed photograph of a person’s body. Wooden beams are installed leaning between parts of the figure’s body. The title is derived from a specific part of the human body. -

Ankle ‘Ankle’ is a work produced in 2020. It was first exhibited at the 21st Department of Fine Arts Graduation Exhibition ‘Crown Shyness,’ held from December 21, 2020 to January 21, 2021, at Korea National University of Arts. An aquarium is placed on top of a wooden sculptural structure, containing a water circulation motor and a shrimp-shaped silicone lure. A light is installed above the aquarium to illuminate it. The title is derived from a part of the human body. -
Fido ‘Fido’ is a work produced in 2024. It was first exhibited at ‘Rheem, Daul’, held from August 23 to September 22, 2024, at sangheeut. The work features different digital images printed on each side of the fabric. In the first part of the exhibition, the fabric displayed an image of a tropical fish on one side and a shipwreck on the other. In the second part, the structure was presented by zipping together fabric printed with an image of a moray eel on one side and an octopus on the other. During the exhibition, the fabric cover was replaced once. The title follows the format of a common name given to dogs in Korea. -
